CTET September 2026 Exam Pattern & Selection Process

Written Examination: CTET consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with no negative marking. Each question carries 1 mark.
Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must score at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks). Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) require 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
Paper-I Structure: Child Development & Pedagogy (30 Qs), Mathematics (30 Qs), Environmental Studies (30 Qs), Language I (30 Qs), Language II (30 Qs) — Total 150 Marks.
Paper-II Structure: Child Development & Pedagogy (30 Qs), Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies/Social Science (60 Qs), Language I (30 Qs), Language II (30 Qs) — Total 150 Marks.

How to Fill CTET September Online Form 2026?

Step 1: Access the official portal of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the active link “Apply for CTET September 2026”.
Step 3: Register as a new user by submitting personal details, mobile number, and email ID to generate Application Number and Password.
Step 4: Fill in qualification details, select your paper option (Paper-I, Paper-II, or Both), exam center preferences, and language choices.
Step 5: Upload scanned photograph and signature according to specified format and file sizes.
