Passed Class 10th (Secondary School Examination) from any recognized Board in India with passing marks in Mathematics and English.

  • Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates from the merit list are called for physical document verification at designated postal offices.
  • Final Selection: Final engagement order issued upon successful verification of marksheets, caste/category certificate, and local language proficiency.
  • Step 1: Visit the official portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Complete the One-Time Registration starting from 31 August 2026 by providing basic details, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Step 3: Pay the online application fee of ₹100/- (if applicable) through UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card.
  • Step 4: Fill the online application form from 02 September 2026 onwards, select preferred Circle, Division, and Post preferences.
  • Step 5: Upload scanned photograph, signature, and 10th class marksheet, then submit before 21 September 2026.
  • Step 6: Download and print a copy of the final application form for future reference.
